We first met in gym class in our sophomore year of high school. I believe we were playing "pickle ball" together.

Seeing as Crystal could drive at the time it was just natural that Kyle, who was still 15, became good friends with her. Unfortunately Crystal became disillusioned with Kyle and they went there separate ways after a few months.

We didn't spend much time, if any, together for the next several years. We each had our own activities and they rarely overlapped, although the band did have a guest appearance in a musical once.

We met again over Thanksgiving break during our Junior year of college and have "dated" ever since.

Kyle proposed in the Eiffel Tower restaurant of the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas on May 1st, 2005 and to his surprise Crystal accepted. There's more to that story... but you'll have to ask Crystal to tell it at the reception.
